Fishermen's Gathering Event: API Enlivens the Kubar, East Kalimantan Fishing Tournament
The Asia Pancing Indonesia (API) community recently showcased its spirit of Unity and Togetherness by participating in the "Fishing Trip Silaturahmi Komunitas Pemancing Kubar" (Friendship Fishing Trip) in West Kutai (Kubar), East Kalimantan. The event successfully gathered hundreds of anglers from across the nation in the Kubar field.
This activity was not merely a social gathering, but a thrilling competition marked by true Sportsmanship. The fishing tournament centered on the heaviest fish category, challenging anglers to conquer powerful freshwater "monster" species endemic to Borneo. The main targets of the competition were the fierce Snakehead (Ikan Gabus), Kihung, and Giant Snakehead (Toman) species all renowned for their strong and aggressive strikes.
The API contingent was seen blending with the local community, traversing swamps and open fields, demonstrating adrenaline and focus while seeking the best spots. Happiness and friendship were evident, proving that every fishing activity is a celebration of community bonds.
